Job Description:
A company is looking for a Legal Specialist on the Right to
Adequate Food.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support capacity-building activities for stakeholders on
legislation related to the right to adequate food
Provide legal drafting support for constitutional amendments and
framework laws concerning the right to adequate food
Research and analyze legal frameworks globally to document
experiences related to the right to adequate food
Required Qualifications
University degree in Law; advanced legal degree or related field is
an asset
At least two years of relevant legal work experience
Working knowledge of English
Knowledge of French and/or Spanish is desirable; knowledge of
another official language is an asset
Experience in legal drafting and development in Africa and Asia is
preferred
